IPhone 8 Review

My cellphone carrier T-Mobile contacted me letting me know I was eligible for a phone upgrade. Which was great news because I cracked the screen and the battery was beginning to be janky. I'm not a big fan of technology at all. I actually think the world would be a bit better without so much of it. However it is beneficial to certain extents. On my quest for my new phone, at first I considered getting another IPhone 6S Plus with more GB. Again I don't care that much for technology, just give me a good quality phone, lots of space, a good camera, and a good battery and I'm good. While I considered purchasing the 1P6SP with more space, I realized I'd be paying just as much (or the same amount) for the IP6SP as the IP8, so I decided to just get the new phone.

I ordered IPhone 8 on T-Mobile's online store a couple of Wednesdays ago and it got to my house last Tuesday afternoon. Let's take a look and get the rundown on the IP8:

Size:
  • 5.45x2.65x0.29
  • 5.22 oz

Display:
  • 4.7 inch 16:9 True Tone LCD, 1334x750 pixels (326 ppi), 65.6% screen-to-body-ratio

Specs:
  • 2GB RAM
  • Six Core GPU
  • Six Core CPU
  • M11 motion coprocessor
  • Read the rest here

Pros:
  • Better camera quality (12MP, faster aperture digital zoom up to 5x)
  • Wireless charging.
  • Starts at 64GB and up for space (No more 16 or 32GB)
  • Handles apps more efficiently due to A11 processor chip
  • Brighter screen
  • Water and dust resistant

Cons:
  • Only one charging port (So that means you can't charge your phone and use the headphones simultaneously). You'll have to purchase an extra dongle.

I'm pretty darn satisfied with the IPhone 8, especially the camera quality. Coming from Androids, to my first IPhone to the 8 has been a great evolution for my bomb ass selfies. Plus, I can use it for product photography for my online shops. Now, I did want a plus because I love big phones, but I'm getting out my comfort zone and I'm digging this one. I also like having more space for apps that I can use for couponing, business, and organization.

I'm a simple person when it comes to technology; good camera, a lot of space, and a sustainable battery. I mean, it's pretty much the same IPhone we know and like (lots of tech people say it's the same as the IPhone 7), except it's been updated a little. The only minor issue I have with the phone is the one jack at the bottom of the phone. Other than that, I have no issues. If you're looking for something different and more "up to date", you may want to grab the IPhone X which drops November 3rd.

  1. iPhone 8 is good phone but if we compare it with the last years iPhone 7 it is not a huge or any drastic upgrade. Still its a good phone if you are coming from the android or 2-3 years old iPhone. Thanks for sharing your review.
