Deep conditioning is crazy important when it comes to natural hair maintenance, especially when winter rolls in. I call autumn/winter "protective style season" because as the weather gets colder, natural hair can become brittle and break off easily in the harsher climate. I picked up Shea Moisture's Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration Masque for a deep conditioning treatment. Here's the rundown on the product:
Size: 12oz
Price: $12.99
Ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Cetyl Alcohol, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter*, Glycerin (Vegetable), Stearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, Panthenol, Trichilia Emetica (Mafura) Seed Oil, Honey, Hydrolyzed Rice Protein, Fragrance (Essential Oil Blend), Adansonia Digitata (Baobab) Seed Oil, Cetrimonium Chloride, Persea Gratissma (Avocado) Oil, Ficus (Fig) Extract, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter *, Tocopherol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Butylene Glycol Butter *

Pros:
- Long lasting product
- Amazing smell
- Extremely moisturizing
Cons:
- None
Shea Moisture really showed out with this one, and to think I wasn't even checking for their Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil line! Besides their African Black Soap Balancing Conditioner, this one right here has to be one of my favorite conditioners from their company. Although this is a masque and there is somewhat of a difference between a masque and a conditioner/deep conditioner (depending on the naturalista), I used the masque as a deep conditioner and it worked well for my hair. I think the smell is what made me fall in love and it keeps my hair oh so soft and moisturized thanks to the manuka honey ingredient. 10's across the board!
