Look of the Day: Colorblock Party ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š❤️๐Ÿ–ค

We got a 53 degree day here in Chi-Town, so I had to show up and show out! Although it's winter, that doesn't mean one has to look and feel frumpy. Winter is one of my least favorite months, but I always try my best to make the best of it. I got this super fly colorblock, vintage 1980's sweater a few weeks ago and I was itching to rock it!

I felt it would look great with a bright orange pencil skirt and my hot pink trench coat. Plus a bold red pair of platform boots and backpack! This ensemble screams 80's like nobody's business. Brenda from "227" would have slayed this circa 1988. Get into this look:

What's a colorful outfit without colorful makeup? A bold, purple lip and two tone eye shadow for a complete 1980's vibe. Gold plated, pink and black, hoop earrings for the win against a half frohawk.

Keeping it colorful and lively throughout the season. Until the next look!

All the artsy, preppy Hyde Park men think they want me because of my natural hair and how I dress until I start talking and they realize I’m from out west! ๐Ÿ˜‚*starts bopping to “Fiesta” by Sicko Mobb* ๐Ÿ“ธ @illaills ๐Ÿ‘— @kltvintageandretro • • • • Lewk: Sweater: Vintage 1980’s Bonnie and Bill by Holly Skirt: Vintage 1980’s/1990’s Gantos orange pencil skirt Boots: Vintage 1990’s Bakers red leather platform boots Accessories/Jewelry: @juicycouture @hm Purse: Vintage 1990’s @coach • • • • • #vintagefashionista #80sstyle #80sfashion #stylebydro #blackfashionblogger #blackgirlskillingit #chicagofashion #chicagofashionblogger #chicagofashionstylist #80saesthetic #naturalhairupdo #4chairstyles #4chair #vintagesweater #vintagecolorblock #90sstyle #blackgirljoy #blackwomenmagic #vintagestyles
