Look of the Day: Spring Ready

Last month there was an unusually warm weekend 'round these Chi-Town parts. Nonetheless how weird the weather was, I had to take advantage of it. I was so excited for the great weather, I had to pull out some springtime clothes! It was also great to get a change of background photography scenery since the weather was so nice. I was getting a bit tired of doing LOTD shoots against that white wall and wooden floor!

I purchased this "All That Jazz" vintage 1990's sun dress last year on sale for either $2 or $3 (totally forgot, but I know it was a decent ass price). I really digged this dress, it's so feminine and a classic 1990's staple that can be accessorized in so many different ways.

I kept this look pretty simple along with that make-up. I wanted to embrace a more "natural" look. For accessories, I wore my snakeskin Alcala's boots, vintage Dooney bag, Juicy Couture gold chain, and a simple pair of vintage 1980's swirled earrings. Next time I wear this dress (when it's really spring!), I'd love to wear it with a vintage 1990's flower hat and a pair of chunky heels; 90's grunge meets Hilary Banks. Can't wait to wear this piece again!
